Well I just thought that I would pop in while I was making supper and post the answer to my quizz for the day... what type of donut are you

I would have to say Daffy Duck... they way he talks just alway's make's me smile.

Jerry cause he's such a little cutie.

Road Runner... you gotta give it to the guy he alway's managed to get away from anything that acme was able to put on the market. LOL

Tweety Bird... that little bitty bird was able to get away from the puddy cat so many time you would think he had the 9 lives.

Well lets see where do I start....

Thursday...
My mum and sister call up and I ask me if I want to go to the public garden's with them and the kids. So I thought great way to spend the day.

Well... they picked me up at 10:30 when I went down stair's they told me to get my bathing suit so back up I go root around for that get all that crap packed up and get into the back seat of the car.. Only to find out that we are going to the lake for the day.

So that mean's a trip to the dollar store to pick up some stuff for the boy's to play with.... 11:00... now were packed back into the car... Dingbat sister decides it's time for gas... 11:15 we finally hit the road.. {remember I'm in the backseat with 2 little guy's who are fightin'}

12:00 we finally make it to the lake... and I've almost lost my mind. Get all set up at the lake... only to find out that I forgot sunscreen and no one else has any... Think to my self it's a bit overcast I won't worry about it.... go swimming...

2:45 mum and sis decide it's time to go... FOR A DRIVE THAT IS.... so off we go driving to the camp ground that we used to go to when we were kids... speakin' of kid's the 2 in the back have passed out... I've got one with his head in my armpit and I'm holding the head of the other one up so it's not floppin' around.... and I'm dyin' with a new sunburn... grrrr sun screen.... so we stop to get the kid's ice cream... they don't want to be woke up and I don't blame 'em...

I just want to go home....... 5:30 we pull up in front of my apartment building...


Friday...
Well it rained all day and I stayed inside feeling like I had falled down a lava pit.
Everytime I moved I thought that the skin on my back was going to start a fire all on it's own..
Sleep didn't happen with out the help of Asprin...

Saturday...
I'm burned to a crisp and just have to go grocery shopping... so off we go to the mall the day wasn't to hot so we walk.

Huge mistake... I forgot where I live... Nova Scotia where the weather can change on a dime...

We are walkin' home with the few things that we picked up, I'm still going nuts because of the burn I have and whamo...
it's only 29 degree's out side.

There is no way this day can get any worse...
Never think those words....

We get home and well I went to the washroom when
SNAP.... the handle on the toilet broke...
and there isn't any one to fix it until Tuesday...
Great going...

So later on that night I think to my self what a wingding of a day I'm going to have a cool bath to help my burn...
When lazyin' in the tub...
I find that the grout around my tiles is cracking and falling out... the same grout that they fix 8 months ago.

Sunday....
I was afraid to get out of bed, I hid in there with a book...
I played on the PC for a while.
Nothin' broke, I didn't get burned and the weather was cool..
The day went ok, DH even cleaned up for me..

Monday Morning...
I get a call from my sister... I tell her to go blow sand..

That was my weekend how was yours?

Happy Monday

Well it's been a while since I've updated my blog. Things have been a bit busy as of late. My poor cat has been sick now since Friday. But she's starting to come around. We don't know what caused it, but we think it's a combo of the heat.. that has been really bad and her cat food. The poor little dear did nothing but sleep all weekend. I was really scared for her, I don't know what I would do if something happened to her. I just love her to death, we've had her since she was 7 weeks old. She's a calico and very pretty coloured.

Speaking of the heat, oh my goodness yesterday it reached 35 degrees here and there was not a bit of a breeze at all. I could barely stand it. Our apartment was like a sauna. Way to hot for me, and I wouldn't go outside because it was worse. At least today there is a breeze, it's only 25 so far. The night's have been cooling off though so that's a good thing for me I can sleep. But poor Mike works back shift and has to try and sleep through the worst of the heat of the day. I feel so bad for him.

Well that's it for now I've been working on a site for one of the MSN groups that I belong to, it's called MQA's Trip around the world. It's just something fun to work on for all of my friends there.

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!

July 1st already.... where is the time going?

Well it has been another hot day, we hit 28 today. But thankfully we had a bit of a breeze. I wasn't feeling so great so we just stayed in today. I did get to watch the fireworks however. From the comfort of my bedroom with a nice drink of grape juice and my fan. LOL...

They had a perfect nite for the fireworks and I bet that it was nice down at the waterfront. I would have liked to go down to watch them, but Mike has to work early tonight and I didn't want to go alone.

The good thing is Mike is going to take vacation August 1st through to the 10th. The 4th of August is another holiday weekend here, it's Natal day its the celebration of Halifax and Dartmouth's Birthdays... so its a weekend long party. There is a parade, fireworks and many fair in town that weekend, as well as the busker's. So hopefully the weather will be just as good than as it is now minus the heat.

1. Are you registered to vote?
As soon as you turn 18 you have to be registered to vote, and since I'm way past that age yes I am registered to vote.

2. Ever prank call anybody?
I will have to hang my head in shame and say yes I have prank called somebody..... but since it was my best friend.... does it really count?

3. Furthest place you ever traveled.
Oh this one is really sad.... I have only ever traveled to New Glasgow. Which is only at the most about 100 miles away from where I live now. It's where Mike's parents live. It's a long story, but I've never been comfortable traveling.

4. Favorite pizza topping?
That would have to be mushrooms. I just love them.

5. Ever order an article from an infomercial?
No cant say that I have. If I want something that is going to break within the first month or not get used I'll save myself the 29.99 and go to the dollar store and pick something up........... the same thing happens.

Well that's all for now, I think that I might mess around in PSP for a bit.
