Yippeee... I got the job!
I start on Friday. It's at one of the dollar stores around here. I'm really happy that I now have a job. The staff there seems to be friendly. It's beautiful out today. So I don't think that I'm going to be online much.

Okay I haven't posted for a couple of day's. Life has been a bit busy. Yesterday my ISP decided to had a fit in the morning so I called the provider, the earlest that they could send some one out was today. The teck guy said that because they are doing upgrades in the area that we might have some outages. Oh really some outages but they aren't going to give you a break on your bill unless you call them and give them what for. Sneaky buggars if you ask me. So any who, I did get my connection back yesterday but I didn't cancel the service call. I wanted them to come and check things out any way.

I went out with mum today for a walk around the mall, Mike hasn't been feeling the best for the last couple of days so he had to go to the doctors. She changed his meds so I hope that works. Looks like we are going to be doing a major overhaul of our eating habits. Also spend less time on the PC and more time outside.

I did put out some resumes. I hope to hear something soon, really soon would be great if you ask me.

It's Raining, and it feels so gloomy out. It was cool all day today and what did I do. I woke up at 8am on a Sunday messed around on the computer for a little while, watched some TV and then I feel asleep reading at 2:30 and slept until Mike woke me up at 4:30.

I really could have slept all day long. I don't know why I'm so sleepy today and my ribs are hurting to boot. I'm going to go job hunting tomorrow. With any luck we won't get the rain that they are calling for. I've been working on some stamps this evening just something different for a change.

Here it is Saturday night and I haven't posted in 2 days so I thought that I would right now. I just finished putting up some new flags that I have been working on. I turned them into blinkies. The one for the Isle of Man took me forever to do. I must say that I have become hooked on doing flags of the world for some reason.

We had a beautiful day today, it was just like a summer day. More to look forward to I guess. I went out with my mum today she called this morning and wanted to go for a walk, so we walked down the street a bit and then turned back went to the drug store and came back to the apartment and got the car and went to the mall to finish out the walk. When we were there she ran into a friend of her's that she hadn't seen in about 40 years or so. I don't know how she can remember these people. I have a hard time with people that I haven't seen in ten years.

I must say that it this blog is now official going to drive me insane. The upgrade that they did has caused me nothing but troubles. I can't FTP it any more to my site and other things. Oh well at least now it's letting me post so thats a good thing... I guess LOL.

Well it was a beaut of a day today we had sunny skies with a high of 22. I did get alot of stuff made today. I will be adding it to Honey Dew Dreams... yup I've been working on another site. I will also be blogging there as well, but it might just be a repeat of what I blog here. I cleaned my house today and did 2 loads of laundry with out any one getting in my way in the laundry room. Now there is a first. I still have to do something with this computer room it's a mess. But getting in here to do anything is like trying to pull teeth sometimes. I'm going out with my mum tomorrow, so I'm not sure if I'm going to be getting anything done on the PC. Oh well.

Well holy cow... Amber won the Million on Survivor All Stars. I was really suprised that Rob proposed to her right there before they announced the winner. It made for some really good tv. I really wasn't suprised to see that Jenna turned on Rupert in the end. She was money hungry from the get go and I was happy to see her mess up at that last challenge. She really didnt belive that she took her foot off of the stump... oh well. I really belive in karma and she should have stuck with Rupert right to the end and taken the rock draw. Oh well. I think that the twist where we get to vote online to see who gets the mill that cbs put up is great. I've already voted for Rupert. I think that he really deserved it. I was happy to see that Amber gave the 3rd car to Shee Ann. That was really big of her, LOL. Considering she was the swing vote that gave Amber the money. What was up with Jerri, that women doesn't really know when to quit I swear. The speel that she went on about the reality show, come on this is the same women who did the surreal life not to long ago. I think that she loves to stir the pot oh well I guess playboy won't be calling this time around.

Crossing Jordan was a good one tonight as well. I've been watching crime shows like mad lately as well. CSI's, Law and Order's, Third Watch it seems like there are alot of good drama there as well. I can't wait for the new season of Big Brother. Okay so I'm a reality, Cop show & home improvement show junkie. I like to watch Trading Spaces, but I don't like Trading Spaces Family. I like to watch extreme make over home edition as well. I used to watch Martha Steward ever day. I think that it really sucks that she's had her show pulled because of the stuff that has been going on in the courts. I mean come on isn't there something else that they could be doing with there time other than that. Oh well I guess it's cause I'm from Canada, I really don't understand how the american law system works.

Well we had a great Mother's Day at my parents today lots of food was eaten, the kids had a great time outside playing like little mad men. It's really late here and I'm posting on early Monday morning instead of Sunday because blogger did an update to the site and this was the first time that I could get online here to post. So there will more than likely be two post on here later today.

It's overcast today and I'm really sleepy for some reason. I did get a good nights sleep last night, but I could still use some more. Isn't that always the way.

Last night's survivor was a bit of a suprise, I thought for sure that they were going to get rid of Jenna... Rob is one sneeky devil, I never would have thought that he would turn on Big Tom like that. Wasn't it "sweet" when Rob won the truck { like we didn't see that coming he wins everything } and Amber got a car because he took her to the movie with him. I'm sorry but she just gets on my last nerve... "most dates you would get flowers, dinner and a movie, but Rob gave me a car on our first date!" Ummm I thought that the show gave that to you, Amber. Okay maybe the curse of the car will hold out and neither of them will win the money. Goooooo Rupert.

I also watched the last Friends like everyone else on the planet last night. I thought that it was so funny when Monica and Chandler found out that they were having twins. Like we all didn't see that ending coming though Ross and Rachel together. It was sort of a bit of a let down really, they sort of closed it but not really. They must be going to use some bits of the story line for the new Joey show or something. We will have to wait and see if that show makes it or not.

Oh my Goodness ER last night was so sad. When they told Carter & Kim that the baby had died inuntro. I balled like a baby. I'm not sure why they went that route with the story line, didn't Carter have enough death this year with his grandmothers passing? I did laugh like crazy though when Abby, Nella & one of the male docs {I can't remember his name} all made comments after Dr. Pratt was being his cocky self.

Well tonight it's the season finale of Third Watch & that looks like it going to have alot of action. I can't wait to see it.

Well I have been truly spoiled rotten today! Mike gave me sandles, books & a new angel named Purity.

Mum and dad gave me new runners a birthday cake and a new angel called Special Daughter.

David, Alicia & Patrick gave me scratch tickets, as did Kerry, Chris, Nick & Dakota. I'm not sure what Darcie is going to give me I haven't seen her yet. I've also received e cards from my aunt and uncle in Norway. Too cool. 32 isn't that bad after all LOL. I've also received gifts from my online friends as well.

Growing up I lived by the ocean, so I've always been used to hearing the roar of the waves crashing against the shore line, I'm even used to hearing the fog horns when it's foggy out... well the last couple of days its been raining and extremely foggy out. Which means that the fog horns blow. I haven't lived at my parents for 6 years now and have moved into the city & the main harbour is just down the street from us. Well let me say, the cruise ship that is in the harbour has the loudest fog horn I have ever heard. Yep, the thing goes all night long and that I'm not used to at all.

It's funny how some sounds and smells will take you back in time. Like the smell that comes from a sunny day just after a rain storm, it always reminds me of when I was about 4 years old and the house that we lived in had a backyard filled with buttercups. Or how the sound of the ocean reminds me of summer vaction when I was a child and wanted to be up first thing to go outside and play. Daisies will always remind me of my grandpie, I miss him so much. He passed away in '99 and I've been thinking about him alot the last little while. I think it has to do with tomorrow being my birthday, he would always call me up and sing happy birthday to me. The last 5 years there has always been something that was missing and it is him.

I guess it doesn't matter how many years pass, it's always going to be a little empty for me on my birthday with out that.

Well I havent touched my psp for a few days so I think that I'm going to open it up and see if I can get inspired to do something.
