Happy Saturday!

I've spent most of my day working on some new websets just for fun and I'm happy with the way that they turned out. The weather has started to warm up a bit... that is if you call single digits under zero warm. LOL

Well I have started work on a new blanket, this one will be made out of chinelle yarn. It's done in red, green and white with a silver strand running through it. I just hope that Miss Kitty doesnt think that it's for her and claim it after it's done. Like she's done with every other one that I have made.

Right now she's sleeping on her chair the little bugger.

I have been trying to drink my 8 glasses of water a day... I feel like I could float away half of the time. But I know that it's good for me so I'm going to keep it up.

Well another day has started to wind down. It's still frezzing out. We have another sever windchill warning again for over night tonight. -35 again. The heat is just pumping out of the rads.

I just wish that we were able to control the rad in the bathroom. It's like a sauna in there. Not to mention that my linen/bathroom stuff closet is right next to this rad. When you touch the inside door knob it's really hot. And I've found a bar of soap that's starting to melt in the closet. It's unbelieveable how hot that one rad gets. I guess it's because they are the old fashion type of rads, not the baseboard ones. They are about 2 1/2 feet up off of the floor. I swear if I was to bring up some wet laundry from the washer it would dry in an hour in here. It's just that warm.

My skin is starting to take a beating from the dry air. I finally know what they mean about the winter itch. I've got it on both of my elbows. I've been using lotion like crazy, the stuff that I got from the hospital. It's made for frequent hand washers. So it's not so harsh. But I have to apply it like mad. Not to mention that the split lip that I had never did heal, and nothing that I put on it seems to work.

Well that's enough of my whinning for tonight.

I guess some one turned on the freezer again...

It's going to go down to minus 36 overnight tonight... they call that a sever windchill... I call it insane. Why do we keep getting this insane weather. It's so unbeliveable. Its going to be like this for a couple of days. UGGGGHHH...

Well I didn't do to much today, I made a roast beef dinner... but we did NOT go outside. It has been cold all day.

I still haven't done much in my PSP. Actually I haven't done anything.

I did however add a message board to the site. I'm not sure if people will post on there or not. I really just do this for myself. It's so I can see how far I've come with html and stuff. I do have to get outta this rut. Or I won't be doing anything new LOL.

Well here it is Saturday night....
and I'm bored.

I haven't felt like doing anything in PSP for day's which is not like me. I always find something that I feel like giving a go. Heck I haven't even made desktops for a few days.

I think that the cold is starting to get to me, I was listening to the weather this evening and they said that the cold snap is coming back. Minus 20 tonight with a wind chill of about minus 30 and it's going to keep up like that for the rest of the week.

Great that's just what we need. I'm so sick of the cold, I would give anything for the spring to hurry up and get here. But that's not going to happen for another 3 or 4 months... just yeck!

MSN is doing some type of updates to there groups which means that half the time you post nothing is showing up.

We didn't do to much today, Mike and I both cleaned up the apartment. Than we went down to the drug store and made supper together. I still have to get the dishes done. It's always one thing or another. I guess that's it for now.

Well here it is Thursday night.

It was mum's birthday today, and she actually got her gift from us on time. We picked her up a Kneeded Angel, it's called Bless You from the For You Series 1.

She really liked it because it was the first one that she has that has a coloured dress. And she likes green alot to.

Mike gave me one for Christmas, it's my first and it's called Dreams.

Out of the great mixing bowl of life, each original design is handmade from bread dough and duplicated by hand with special ingredients (not edible of course!) to give you an actual feeling of its originality.

I think that they are just adorable, and since I'm a big collector of anything with angels or bears this one was a great one to get it has both of the things that I adore.

We went to the mall today and we stopped into the Disney Store. They still have a great sale going on there and I picked up a new tshirt with Tinkerbell on it for 5.99.

Well it's a nice day out... or it was.
It's not to cold and the sun was out for a bit today. But now it's getting dark out which means that soon the temp will drop again. I was even able to have my windows open today. Which is great, because I hate how stuffy it can get in here in the winter. I try to open my windows every day, unless it's snowing out.

I have been messing around this afternoon surfing the web and stuff, I have my radio on beside me... well I must say that I'm really getting tired of songs but The Canadian Idol as well as The 2 American Idols and The Runner up. It seems to be all that they play and it really gets boring. Even the names of the songs, I'm Sorry 2004... what were they thinking. They should be sorry, cause everytime I hear it I get a head ache. Okay that's enough of that little rant because I could go on forever about that. It's been bugging me for days now.

Tomorrow is Mum's birthday the big 50 she'll be. I'm not sure if anything is going on down there or not, no one ever tells me anything. I do know that were going to get about 2 to 5 cm of snow tomorrow. I do have to go to the mall for a bit too. I need some new bulbs for the kitchen.

As I sit here typing away Cali is asleep in the chair and I can her Mike snoring away. He should be getting up soon. Which means that he will sit at the PC and play games until I call him for supper, he'll spend a half hour with me and than play his games for another 3 or 4 hours. I can't really complain, he does work hard and working back shift is hard on him. I know that he hates it.

Well I've been doing some work on the site tonight. I must say that this blog is driving me half nuts. I think that I have redone it 4 times now.

It's 12:20 and I'm kinda tired tonight. I did spend part of the evening reading, another one of those "Trashy" novels Mike calls them. I'm not ashamed to admit that I read Harlequin Blaze books... well actually I'm hooked on them and I know that the new ones are out this week. So that means I will have 4 new ones to read. I'll get them at Walmart cause they give a 25% off discount on them.

Well were going to be getting some more snow over night tonight... and another storm for Thursday. That's just what we don't need. I mean it only storms at the end of the week when I have things that I have to get done. Mom's birthday is on Thursday. I already picked up her gift. It's one of the Kneeded Angels. She started to get them when she was in the hospital last year. And now they are going to be the gift of choice I do belive. I got one from Mike for Christmas it's called dreams, and it has two of my favorite things.... Angels and Bears.

Well that's it for now I think. I'm starting to get sleepy and I'm still not sure if I like the over all look of the site yet. I'm just going to go and think about it for a bit... or play some bingo. LOL

It's been a while since I posted here.

Lets see what's been happening... well around here the weather is the main topic of discussion. We have been in a deep freeze for about a week and a half with temps of -35, let me tell ya that was not a plesant thing. Now tonight were having a heavy snow fall advisory... were going to get up to 15 cm of snow... oh goody.

I have had a couple of headaches because of the weather. Thank goodness that I still have some Tylenol 3's in the house they were the only thing that helped me out.

I've been working on a new website for me just for the heck of it. And I have to do something with this site. I'm going to be making a new webset of my own to jazz up the place I think, sometime this week.

Just when I thought that I had this flu thing beat. I've started to feel terrible again. I woke up this morning with a cold sore on my bottom lip and my top lip is now split, the more stuff I used on it the worse it seems to get. The split is driving me nuts.

Well I think that I have a handle on Mike's new clan site. I just need for him to tell me what type of text that he wants on the pages. I just wish that he would get his behind in gear so I could have it finished. I hate to have things that are half done. I did manage to take the time to fix up all the stuff that I have in my document folder, unzip tubes and put them in the proper folders as well as put all the family photo's into one section. Now I just have to do the same thing with the apartment. I have to get all of the boxes with the Christmas stuff down to the storage locker, I think that I'll get Mike to help me with that when he gets up tomorrow afternoon. I have to take the wrapping paper and boxes down as well.

I can't belive how much of a mess this place is, it's just the two of us and the cat but the place is trashed. That always seems to happen when I'm not feeling well. I'll get the place cleaned up when I wake up in the morning, I know that I will have the get up and go to do it then. That's usually when I feel at my best.

Right now Miss Cali is sleepin' on her blanket and looking so cute. But I know that the little buggar is only going to shoot up when the alarm goes off for Mike to get up. It's so cute to see how attached she is to him. When he gets home from work in the morning the first thing that she does is greet him at the door, you would think that she was a puppy instead of a cat. If Mike doesn't pick her up right away she'll climb up his pants. She's such a little ham. Some days she drives me half insane but I don't know what I would do if anything happened to her.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Well it's hard to belive that another year has come and gone and a new one has taken it's place. I sure hope that this one is alot better than last year.

Well I didn't do to much for New Years Eve. Mike and I stayed at home, we had home made nacho's with cheese sauce and sour cream... mmmm yummy.

We spent the evening watching movies, I didn't relize that Bad Boys 2 was 2 hours and 20 minutes long but it was well worth it. I have to say that I didn't get bored watching it alot of action and really funny to boot. We were in bed by 12:30, where Mike works the back shift and everything was closing early on New Years eve we had to go out so that meant that he only had 3 hours sleep for the day. The poor guy couldn't keep his eyes open. But we had fun any way.

I have to get the tree down this weekend, it's starting to drop it's needles really badly.

Well that's it for now, I'll be back later in the day as it's 1 am here now and Mike will be up soon to go to work and I'm going to crawl into the bed.
