Teddy's Talk

Well what a day I had. I got up at 8am and made a Doctors appointment for Mike, than Mum called me at 9:30 and she and I went out. Well it was so cold out today. It was minus 21 with a windchill of minus 31. Mum took me down to put in my ROE so that's one less thing that I have to worry about. Than we went grocery shopping. I got alot of great deals today so that was a good thing. Than when I thought that she was going to bring me home nope she went in the wrong direction which threw me. We went to Zellers and started to look at the winter boots. They had a 50% off sale and had nothing left. So we are coming back in towards my apartment and she stops off at Walmart. Mum found a pair of blue suede winter boots/shoes for 19.00 and bought them for me. She said that she didn't want to see me walking around in sneakers any more. That was great because I really could afford them. I know sad isn't it but being layed off at this time of year is not a good thing.

So we get back to the apartment and drop off the groceries and mum dropped us off at the doctor's. Well the appointment was for 2:15 the doctor didn't come back until 20 past 2 from lunch and there was a woman ahead of us. We finally got in at 5 to 3. Turns out that Mike has a bacterial infection {his throat} it just by luck that it didn't go into his lungs. And I asked about the pain that I have been having in my foot for the last month. Turns out that I have tendonitis in my foot. I have to take advil for pain, ice it for 20 mins and stay off of it as much as possible. Other than that there isn't much I can do for it. The cause of it was from my job, we weren't allowed to sit on the floor when putting stuff out on bottoms shelves so you had to squat on the tips of your feet. Which caused this to happen to me. which Sucks the big green weiner if you ask me.

So after we were done there off we go to call for a cab to bring us home. The phone did nothing but ring for 5 mins, so we started to walk which was a dumb idea it was so cold out. So we came to another payphone and try again same thing. We walked up the street in the blistering cold to the mall. We picked up a few things and off we go again to call a cab, well again we couldn't get a cab. So we walked home in the freezing cold. It was just one of those days.

YEAH! It's mild out today and As I hear the cars going up the street I hear that wonderful sound of slush. Which means that some of this nasty mess is finally melting. Which is great news if you ask me.

Well we ran out of smokes today and we have no money until tomorrow which means you guessed it we both have to give it up. I would really like to give up this nasty habit for good. I know that it's not good for me and in the end will kill me. It's really stupid to do something to yourself that you know isn't good for you. I just have to keep myself busy that's all. Which is why I have been messing around with my site for a bit this morning. I did get the Gem Bears finished last night, I did them still and animated. I'm not to sure if I'm happy with them or not but I'm as happy as I can be for today.

I think that I'm going to make some cookies soon. So there is something sweet for me to chomp on LOL.

Yippeee... I got the job!
I start on Friday. It's at one of the dollar stores around here. I'm really happy that I now have a job. The staff there seems to be friendly. It's beautiful out today. So I don't think that I'm going to be online much.

Okay I haven't posted for a couple of day's. Life has been a bit busy. Yesterday my ISP decided to had a fit in the morning so I called the provider, the earlest that they could send some one out was today. The teck guy said that because they are doing upgrades in the area that we might have some outages. Oh really some outages but they aren't going to give you a break on your bill unless you call them and give them what for. Sneaky buggars if you ask me. So any who, I did get my connection back yesterday but I didn't cancel the service call. I wanted them to come and check things out any way.

I went out with mum today for a walk around the mall, Mike hasn't been feeling the best for the last couple of days so he had to go to the doctors. She changed his meds so I hope that works. Looks like we are going to be doing a major overhaul of our eating habits. Also spend less time on the PC and more time outside.

I did put out some resumes. I hope to hear something soon, really soon would be great if you ask me.

It's Raining, and it feels so gloomy out. It was cool all day today and what did I do. I woke up at 8am on a Sunday messed around on the computer for a little while, watched some TV and then I feel asleep reading at 2:30 and slept until Mike woke me up at 4:30.

I really could have slept all day long. I don't know why I'm so sleepy today and my ribs are hurting to boot. I'm going to go job hunting tomorrow. With any luck we won't get the rain that they are calling for. I've been working on some stamps this evening just something different for a change.

Here it is Saturday night and I haven't posted in 2 days so I thought that I would right now. I just finished putting up some new flags that I have been working on. I turned them into blinkies. The one for the Isle of Man took me forever to do. I must say that I have become hooked on doing flags of the world for some reason.

We had a beautiful day today, it was just like a summer day. More to look forward to I guess. I went out with my mum today she called this morning and wanted to go for a walk, so we walked down the street a bit and then turned back went to the drug store and came back to the apartment and got the car and went to the mall to finish out the walk. When we were there she ran into a friend of her's that she hadn't seen in about 40 years or so. I don't know how she can remember these people. I have a hard time with people that I haven't seen in ten years.

I must say that it this blog is now official going to drive me insane. The upgrade that they did has caused me nothing but troubles. I can't FTP it any more to my site and other things. Oh well at least now it's letting me post so thats a good thing... I guess LOL.

Well it was a beaut of a day today we had sunny skies with a high of 22. I did get alot of stuff made today. I will be adding it to Honey Dew Dreams... yup I've been working on another site. I will also be blogging there as well, but it might just be a repeat of what I blog here. I cleaned my house today and did 2 loads of laundry with out any one getting in my way in the laundry room. Now there is a first. I still have to do something with this computer room it's a mess. But getting in here to do anything is like trying to pull teeth sometimes. I'm going out with my mum tomorrow, so I'm not sure if I'm going to be getting anything done on the PC. Oh well.
