It's Sunday Evening....

And well it feels like I'm sitting on the sun. This entire day was so terribly hot. Yesterday and last night it was so humid. Now there isn't a breeze to be found. I think that it hit about 32 today... yeck...

As of 9 PM it was down to 21, yippee... and still no breeze.

The heat is making me so sick to my stomach. I think that I should have went to mum's tonight to sleep. I know that it will be so much cooler down there close to the water. What a silly week this one is. Mike goes into work tonight for 11 to 7 and than goes back to work on the 2nd of July for 3 am. It's because of the holiday on the 1st. Sometimes I think that they just should turn all holiday's that fall in the middle of the week either on a Monday or Friday. That way everyone will have a long weekend and not a broken up week.

The weather people say that its only going to go up to 21 tomorrow. I hope so. I really do. I think that I have drank enough water to float to England and back. But I know if I don't than I will be in big trouble, and I don't want that.

I made a few more globes tonight I think that I'm going to post them in a little bit.

Oh I really do mean it today. I'm so thankful that this week is finally over and done with.

Well it was another hot one today, but not as sick hot as yesterday. The humity was something wicked. You couldn't stand to be outside at all.

Well I decided to give my site a new look, I'm not to sure how I like it yet. But I guess it will grown on me. Well it will have to do for today. I'm to tired to give it another go around.

I have yet to make dinner. I have no idea what I'm going to make tonight. When it's warm like this I don't want to eat anything; maybe some more pickles.

Well I think I'm going to get off for a bit.

Happy Bellybutton Day!

Well here we sit smack dab in the middle of the week. I have been looking after my 2 nephews. Boy have they been a handful this week. The oldest one has been sick, poor little guy. He's had a fever on and off all week long. Hopefully he'll be feeling better by Friday. He's going camping with his parents and my brother and his girlfriend and there son. The weather is suppose to hold out for them. I sure hope so. It's been great all week. Tomorrow will be my last day babysitting the two of them for the summer.

Well I haven't been doing much with the site lately. I really have to get somethings done here. I think that I'm going to be bring together this site as well as my Pink Lady site. That way I will have them both in one spot. But I'm still thinking about it, might be a while before I get it all put together.

Well I think that I'm going to go and catch up on some things. Seems that the email piles up when your not getting to it as fast as you should.

Tuesday Afternoon

Thank goodness we finally have a breeze going on today. I don't think that I could take much more of that heat again. It made for a very hard evening of sleeping. Hopefully tonight it will be much easier. I thought that I would post before I got into making some supper.

Well we found out the date that Mum has to go back into the hospital. She goes in on the 28th of July to have the stint taken out and than back in on the 13th of August to have the operation. I am so hoping that the operation is not needed and that her bile duct has healed on its own.

Well I think that I should get down to making some supper.

Monday Night
The End of another Hot Day!

Wow! That's all I can say. Summer has seem to come in on a high note this year. We have been in the 20's for the last few days. I sure hope that this is not a sign of things to come. I like the summer and all but I can really live without the heat.

I have 3 more day's of looking after my sisters little guy, than she is out of school for the rest of the summer. I must say that I'm really looking forward to that. We have all been talking about going camping together this summer. That is always fun. They place that we go to is so nice and they have this huge lake. I haven't been swimming in what seems like forever. So I'm really looking forward to it.

Well it's kinda late so I think that I'm going to head off to bed.

It's Sunday and I feel.......

Totally agitated.

MSN has been doing up grades on the groups which are now a complete and total mess. You can't do a dang thing with them. One of my groups is a total mess, and it breaks my heart to go into it. So I figure that I will hide out in here for a bit before I go to bed.

My sunburn is killing me, I've sprayed it a couple of times with this medicated stuff that numbs it for about an hour or so.... the thing is you must remember to keep your mouth shut { which is sometimes very hard for me } because if you breathe it in... you get a numb tounge. Which isn't so bad for those around me tonight. I must say that I'm very colourful.

And the icing on the cake.... my Cat has been in heat now for the past 4 days... and all she does is howl. I'm thinking that maybe I should just move to the roof top to get away from everything for the next little bit.

Well the weather was nice again today, but I didn't dare go outside. All I've been doing is drinking water like a mad person and having short naps... okay I slept for 2 hours this afternoon.

Well I think I'm going to go and see what I can get into in PSP for a bit.

And a Happy Saturday it's been!

Well Mike and I went for a walk today to the water front. We had a great time, the weather was beautiful. Only one small thing... I managed to get sunburned. The temp finally went down, we hit about 30 today but we were really lucky to have a nice breeze. So I can't complain. Not that I would a day like today is a blessing and should be counted as such.

While we were down at the waterfront they were having a festival down there for something, we were going to go in but they were charging $5.00 a person to get in, and the money was not going to a charity. I have a problem with stuff like that, they charge you to get in and than charge outrageous prices for consessions. I don't mind if I know that the money is going to a good cause, but when it's not I try not to go to things like that. So instead Mike and I sat down at the waters edge, and had some of the homemade goodies that we picked up at the farmer's market instead. That was fun, we stayed for a couple of hours and than headed out. We went to the mall to pick up some stuff for supper. Were having homemade subs. I just have to get them made.

Well it's twenty to seven and the weather is starting to cool down thank goodness, I hope to be able to sleep some tonight. It was just to hot last night, or maybe it was just me. I kept having night sweats.

Well it's Saturday Night and Trading Spaces is on. Can't wait to watch it. I have seen an ad for Trading Spaces Family, that looks interesting. They have a male host for that one, and it will be starting on Sunday evenings. So now it's While you were out Friday's, Trading Spaces Saturday's and starting soon Trading Spaces Family on Sunday's. They way I see it when we finally stop renting, I'm going to be able to do alot of the reno my self.... I'm hooked on these shows. HGTV is another station that I love to watch alot.

Well I guess that I should get my duff off of here, Mike's going to want to play some of his games soon and I can't really blame him.

Thank goodness it's the end of the week, well the rain has finally let up and now it's hot and sunny. Were sitting at about 26 and there is very little breeze today. The heat kinda makes me sick to my stomach.

Well I managed to make a few more blinkies today. I haven't put them up as of yet. I've been doing some things for one of the MSN groups that I belong to.

I think that hubby wants to go out for a bit, I'm thinking that a walk by the lake and getting under a tree would be a good idea for the rest of today.

That would be a toss up between my hubby and Kathy my best g/f from grade school. So I will take it that were talking best G/F for today.

Kathy and I met each other in the 5th Grade.

Oh goodness it's so hard to pick, but I would have to say it is how we have stayed friends for all of these years. Even though months go by that we don't talk to each other because life it to busy and things get outta hand, I know that I can always pick up the phone and call her no matter what time of day. We have shared alot of things through the years.

4. What is a special memory or funny story about you and your best friend? I am
sure you have more than one, but do try to pick one.
I think that it would have to be our high school graduation. So many people never thought that either of us would make it at times, considering all we ever did was ditch school { not a good idea at the best of times, but even more so your senior year } My mum was taking photo's and Kathy and I were goofing around and mum took a shot of the 2 of us in our Robes it was a great day. Followed up by a prom that neither one of us had a date for so we took each other, she had to be one of the worst dates ever LOL. After the prom we had a safe grad where we all went out to Macdonald's beach for the night, we ate, gambled and sat around a bomb fire all night and talked. That had to be one of the most special times of all, than it was like we had 2 months to grow up and get a job. Well we got jobs, but we never grew up!

5. If you never met this person, how do you think your life would be different?
I don't think that my life would have been as full as it has been. With out her to goof around with, cry with and vent about things with. She's my best friend for a reason, because we are both so different from each other that we make a good pair.

It's Wednesday so Happy Belly Button Day!

Well were sitting right smack dab in the middle of the week, yet another beautiful sunny day with a nice breeze. The temp right now is at 23 degrees. So far today I've made 16 new blinkies, I've made the ones for the Zodiac as well as a couple others. When I first started to make them I was using a template, but now I'm doing them free hand. I'm very happy about that.



I think that this one turned out pretty well. I can't belive that it's the 18th of June already, time is really starting to fly. I guess the nice days do that. Summer always seems to go by so quickly, its kinda sad. But I must say that fall is my favorite time of year here especially when the leave start to change. It's so beautiful.

I think that it would have to be rap music, it's not that I have anything against rap it just seems to be the same type of thing every time that you hear it. The videos are even worse, the way that women are depicted just sickens me.

Well it's Tuesday

The weather sure has done a turn around. Yet another beautiful day and right now were sitting at 20 degrees, with a nice breeze. My poor cat has done nothing but sleep all afternoon on her special chair with her blankie that I made for her. The weather has put me in such a good mood today, I've made a new blinkie for summer.



I think that I've gone blinkie mad the last few days. This is the first time that I've made one like this, I kinda like the way that it turned out.

Last night they showed some of the auditions for Canadian Idol... I must say that I would never have the nerve to do something like that.... some of them were just terrible. But to each there own I say. I guess everyone wants to be a star in ther own way.



Well I should get a few more things done.

It's Monday.... oh yippee

Well we finally found out what is going on with my sister, seems that after 2 trips to the hospital and a 3 day stay they have finally pin pointed the problem. She has a sever bladder infection as well as ulcers. For some one that's only 27 that's a terrible thing. But I'm glad that we finally know what is going on with her.

So far today the sun is out and there is no rain in sight which makes me very happy. I don't think that I could stand any more rain, I'm starting to get soggy. There is a nice cool breeze today so that's a great thing. I really can't stand it when it gets to warm. 21 is the best temp I think.

I'm not to sure what I'm going to be working on today. I know that there are a few things that I want to get done. I'm very happy with how things are start to take shape with this site, but I have a bit more work to do on my Pink Lady site. I had to change my hit counter this morning for some reason the one that geo cites gives you to use wasn't working well for me at all so I went to bravenet and got one there. I also added a guest map.



Well I think it's time for another cup of tea.

Good Sunday Evening.

Well I finally got my blinkie page up and running. I must say that gave me a few fits today. But after a 2 hour nap I came back with a fresh out look on things. I think that this is my favorite blinkie that I've made so far


The weather has been really lousy all weekend. Nothing but rain and over cast. No small wonder all I want to do is sleep. Well I managed to make a bit of a dent into the laundry pile from who knows where....

Well my sister had to go back into the hospital this evening, they still don't know what is wrong with her. I'm starting to worry about her. I hope soon that they find out what is wrong. All I know is that it's something to do with her stomach, but the Dr's can't pin point the problem.

Well I think that I may work a bit more on my silly blinkie obsession for a while and than turn in. With any luck I will hear some more about my sister in the morning.

I've been working on some new blinkies this morning. Having a bit of fun with that. The weather has done another flip flop, it was beautiful and warm yesterday, now it's over cast and really chilly today. From the sounds of things it's going to start raining buckets. How lovely is that :(

I still have a mountain load of laundry to dig through. I don't think that I'm ever going to get to the end of it. I have no idea where it comes from, and I really belive that all of the socks that I've lost in the washer have some how made there way back into the apartment.... they now live in the bottom of the closet.

I haven't done my quiz of the day yet. I will try to get to it later, that is if the sock monster doesn't get me first.

Friday the 13th

Yuck... just the thought of this day. I'm a bit superstious, not much really. Today is starting out beautiful. It's warm and sunny and it's only 9:15 in the morning. I think that I'm going to go get a cup of tea, maybe work on a couple of things than I must clean up and do some laundry.

Well it's Thursday...

So far I have added new belly bears with causes to the site. I've also added the amber alert as well, and have just found out that it is available for Canada off of the main site so I'm going to go and download that one as well. I have not gotten my quiz of the day yet but I will post it when I do.

I'm very sore today, my legs and right arm are killing me. It's over cast and very sticky here today. I can't wait for the rain to start to break it up.
